I really like the fence. Without it, these'd be like a bunch of other such pictures. With it... I dunno, it's jut cool. Gives you a sense of being and context.

Pretty awesome considering you can't even see the cars they are attached to.

I am curious why there is a set of white trails in the second picture that just seem to disappear. I think it must have hit 88 miles per hour...

First is very good :) LOve the forground object to highlight the trails. Tells a story.

Light trails are some of the most awesome things ever.

Here's one from a Christmas display a few years ago.

ten hours from SF to Portland? Are you going up the 5?

Yup. And just made it. So boring. At least there was no traffic, no rain, no snow... so could've been worse.

How do you get to the 5 from SF? You don't have to drive all the way to Sac do you?

You can bypass Sac by taking the 505.

that's good. I drove down I5 last year and had to take this stupid junction in Sac to get onto another freeway and it took me like, two hours of driving around Sacramento. I thought I was gonna have to pull over and punch someone. And I used to friggin LIVE there.

on the way down, just bring some sapporos and go 150 the whole way- much more fun.
