Sf cabs and I share a mutual hatred for each other. 45 min for a cab midday? seriously? Fortunately I had two extra minutes to spare before check-in closed.

The BART's actually pretty convenient for United flights 'cause you get to avoid traffic and don't have to transfer to the airport train.

I was planning on taking BART, and was going to walk there from my house, but I got sucked into email and by the time I realized what time it was, a cab was the only option... :/

In retrospect I should've drove.

Which company?

I drove for Luxor in 2002/2003 and I would not have expected that to happen. Their computer/gps dispatch system would show you as stale, and someone would probably get it fairly quick.

Then, I think they were best for dispatched calls, if you are close enough, the system offers it to you.
