Back from running. We ended up going to this big forest/park place and getting split up and getting lost. Of the 5 in our group, we mostly ran as 2 groups: Nick, Ocshner, and I in front, then Mike and Elisa in back .... we lost Mike and Elisa at one point and decided to head back to the car. On the way back I died and separated from the group. I then got lost and did several laps around the place, trying to find a person, road, or sign ..... I kept recognizing the same trees and intersections... very annoying. I finally found somebody and asked him how to get back to the parking lot, but he said he was lost too but would lead me back to the nature center where there were maps. He ran fast, very fast .... and I had to keep up with him. Got back there, then tried to head back again and took more wrong turns, doubled back on myself twice on two different trails ... thought I was going to sleep out there at one point. Finally I found a sign that pointed me towards a bridge I remembered and eventually found my way back where I expected everybody to be pissed at me, but they had all got lost too. I was only gone 15 minutes more than them ... they thought the Blair Witch had got me. |
