Contest [Jul. 28th, 2000|02:34 am]
Brad Fitzpatrick
This is cool ---- now that the LiveJournal style contest is over I get to review everybody's entries ... quite fun. I wish there were more entries (and I know a bunch of people with awesome styles that should've entered) but I'm having fun looking at them. I'm waiting for a bunch of people to give me their opinions on them before I hand out the awards.

Why not have people vote on them. It's not like you don't have a website to do that or anything : P

How do you link sites to your journal? I can't seem to find out how.

I think you should have had a contest for people who have embedded their LiveJournals, since that's a lot of work as well, and people COULD use those.. especially they'd be helpful for those confused as to how to go about embedding, or making an embeddable LJ style.

You could judge on how the style is made, how it looks with the site, and the mechanism for embedding it. I know I've devised a much smarter way of doing it in PHP.. but I'll keep my mouth shut for the moment...
