I'm having fun. Upgraded the database on freevote.com, fixed a corrupted table (minor), ran some scripts to purge some old data. Then, wrote a Perl script using Net::IMAP::Simple to suck all my mail folders down from UW's mail servers to my own IMAP server, which I actually have control over. Plus, the school's mail servers are slow and oddly configured. Now I can more easily backup my mail. The way the school had their IMAP servers setup, mail was all handled on a cluster of machines students don't have logins at, so we don't have access to our raw mail spools.
