I now have Windows 2000 Service Pack 1. Aren't I friggin' special? It only had to replace every single system file in existence .... must have been pretty buggy. :-) I now seek out a Win2K ChangeLog. I want to know what SP1 all fixed. Is that something that Microsoft even publishes?|
Update: Yup. page 1, page 2, and page 3. oh my.
Does it fix the bug which makes the date jump 20 years into the future for no apparent reason? This happens to me quite often; I don't even have to be touching the computer and the date suddenly gets set to the year 2020. The bug has existed since Beta 1 and still isn't fixed in the final retail version... None of my friends encounter it, but it happens to me all the time, even after a clean install, so I suspect that it may be in the SMP kernel...
Just one more reason why I've quit using windows...

Re: Windows 2020
fix your BIOS, yo.
doubt it's windows.
I think it is windows 2000--it never happens under any of my other OS's, including windows 98.
It's not that big a deal. Just annoying.
