Modest Mouse

This is just as messed up as you listening to Tripping Daisy. I'd occasionally listen to Modest Mouse last year and you'd be like "what is this whiny crap....Eli are you playing Violent Femmes again...don't make me smack you you little bitch" When we went to go watch them play in the HUB...where was brad. When we helped them haul in their equipment, and talked to them before the show...where was brad. Shiiiiiiiit. Well, at least it sounds like I'll get away with playing some more music this year (all though, I guess it won't matter much since I'm 2 floors up). Enjoy the music. If you haven't already listened to these songs by them, you might want to check them out. Lounge, Convenient Parking, Bankrupt on Selling, Jesus Christ Was An Only Child.

Re: Modest Mouse

I think we can safely assume that no good band can come from a city that one might term "a parking lot". Modest Mouse is from Issaquah. Therefore, Issaquah is not a parking lot. Issaquah rules.

Re: Modest Mouse

Dude, open your eyes. They have a song called "convenient parking." That's really all Issaquah is :-) Issaquah is still a parking lot, and therefore, does not rule :-)

Re: Modest Mouse

Pshaw! That song probably isn't even about Issaquah. Besides, cities can be defined as "ruling" merely because of the groups they produce.. Seattle, for instance, has been home to Sir Mix-a-Lot, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Mudhoney, Foo Fighters, Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden, and Jimi Hendrix. Now tell me Seattle doesn't RULE because of these great bands/musicians. Accordingly, Issaquah RULES because of Modest Mouse. And, of course, me. But on a slightly lesser scale (I'm so humble).
