Biking at night, police, dream lab. [Oct. 12th, 2000|07:11 pm]
Brad Fitzpatrick

I went on a bike ride all over the place. I didn't want to go home because of all the people there tonight.

I was over by Petco (was going to find a new leash) and I saw a bunch of cops going crazy down near Hoku's house... 5 or 6 cars blocking stuff off, a helicopter hovering above with a search light, and police running around frantically. Pretty weird. Never did get the leash (for spinning) ... Petco has no bike racks to lock up to. I wonder where you can buy bike racks... we need one for our house.

Anyway, I then rode back to campus and I've now found my dream computer lab... secluded, quiet, nice monitors, no username/password to login, no roaming profiles, complete with ssh clients, X servers, Matlab, Mathematica, Maple, MathCAD .... this lab rocks. And the bathrooms, drinking fountain, and vending machine are extremely close. I hearby adopt the Physics study center as my new lab.

I think I'll now start taking notes for tomorrow's physics test, which I'm not looking forward to at all. :-(

I've adopted the disused "Writing Center" lab in my school. No one ever uses it, so I'm free to plug my laptop into the network and do whatever the heck I want.

Note: It is disused because the computers are absolutely ancient

Fool! You NEVER give the particulars of a good lab. All the world will now descend on it and you.

Ideal Lab, Ideal Bathroom

Since you've Already found the ideal lab I'll go ahead and tell you where THE best bathroom on campus is located. It's in the business library, downstaris, ground floor. Soooo damn nice. I walked Hoku to the library or something like that last year and while she was meeting with a group I went to use the bathroom. My god, I'd eat off of those floors, no joke. Best bathroom on campus, best one ever.

listen to this

I bought a new car today, 2000 Ford Focus SE Silver with some nice features... had 30 miles on it. I guess they sold it 3 times. I drove 10 miles, thing crapped out. I think it is something with the computer, fuel injector is nutty or something... pretty crazy eh...

I ain't stressed about it or even mad. I figure shit happens. In fact I am so NOT worried that I plan to drive it to Santa Barbara this weekend (4 hours) Think thats Crazy?!? Go on over to my livejournal and tell me if you think I am a moron!

BTW, use forumzilla!

Okay so you have spoken about this leash thing...and some twirling thing. I thought in time I would know what exact this all means, but now I am totally curious. What it is all about?

Good Luck!

Good luck on the Physics test, Brad! [ick, I hate Physics!] You're always completing your Physics homework, and you're the LJ mastermind supreme, so I know you'll do just fine! :)

Re: Good Luck!

Honestly ... I kind of like physics, hate chemistry... all the chemical sucks. Love Pure Mathematics / Mathematics / History of Modern World / Geography [ human / physical ] ... Hate language subjects too.. they just suck
