just had another house meeting ... always so fun. an hour to decide one or two simple things. always comedic, though .... I enjoy them.

Don't listen!

Don't listen to the heathens who put sugar in their iced tea. ;) Also, since we've already frightened you, have you ever heard of *instant* iced tea? It's these little brown granules that you put into regular old water and stir 'em around. When enough of 'em dissolve you get iced tea.

There's a new "cold brew" iced tea out where you use tea bags instead of instant granules. It's an improvement. :D

Don't listen! to her saying don't listen!

Hey now,

I am not a huge admirer of the south, but one thing they do right is...sweet tea! I can stand it unsweetened, but you just haven't lived until you've had a tall icy glass of good ol' southern sweet tea. The secret is...use SUGAR, not processed high fructose corn syrup *retch*, and...put the sugar in while the tea is hot! If you do it after it's on ice, like most of the rest of the country (and the world perhaps), you get a pile of disgusting crystals on the bottom of your glass. It's no wonder people don't like it.

Don't knock it til you've tried it. A good sweet tea is a beautiful thang. :0)
