I have four and a half year of compulsary French classes to look forward to when I goto RMC Kingston for college. *yay* *L*
Out of the three, which do you want to become fluent in?
I want to live in a spanish speaking country (Costa Rica or PR) and India (Hindi and Gujarati)so I can become fluent. Living there and immersing yourself is the only way to be truly fluent in any language....
Agree totally. I think I want to move to Germany for a few years.... I could become fluent in German and dabble in French, perhaps.
I recall reading somewhere that Germany is the growing frontier in computer technology. Any truth to that?
i think so. They are trying anyway. My uncle was sent there for his job, (in the computer industry.) You wouldn't believe some of the stuff...
short term goals: Good luck on your linguistics midterm!!
midterm goals: which palm pilot would you recommend the best? (thinking about getting one myself...)
long term goals: I want to learn how to speak French & Chinese fluently. Chinese is my native language. and since I was born in Canada and parents always talked to me in English, I can't speak it, but can understand the basics. other languages of interest are Spanish & Japanese.
