sometimes little things make me feel like such a hax0r: i changed the IP address on one of the new LJ servers and I was unable to connect to it anymore from my win2k box (on the same switch). solution? ping -b 192.168.1.255 ... update the switch's ARP cache. ah yea'

in other news, i paid off my car loan today and ate a hot dog.
