"Study Party"?! You bloody Americans have a party for anything! :)

So does my group of English friends. We celebrate meaningless milestones just for the hell of it.

"Wow, we finished a small block of exams!"
"Wow, I've got another place at a University!"
"Wow, It's the end of the week!"
"Wow, the name of the day ends in Y!"

Most of these celebrations result in drinking and general merriness... Which is nice! :)

The next celebration is due for next Tuesday, I believe. End of January A-Level exams. Hooray!
What's more, we've a whole lot of birthdays to celebrate between now and April. Somehow I've managed to end up in a group of friends all with birthdays near start of the year...
