Screw Cooking. [Jan. 17th, 2001|11:38 pm]
Brad Fitzpatrick
So, I did my cooking thing tonight for everybody. The meal was frickin' great --- it was just like I was at Red Robin.

But, I won't be doing it again for quite some time.

The shopping, cooking, and especially the clean-up all took way too damn long. I was starting to get really frustrated by the end, but I held it in.

I think the evolution of mankind is to purchase your food. I consider my free time more valuable than the two dollars I saved by cooking it myself.

Oh my GOD, I totally just wrote an Economics paper about this last night. I figured 2 Double Decker Tacos from Taco Bell and a water is $1.83... figure in like 1 mile of driving time, etc.. it was like $4 or something. But then, when I went out and bought all that shit, cooked it, ate it, cleaned up, the time/materials cost was like $16 or something crazy like that for some tacos that weren't even as good. Heh.
