Going to bed now.|
Somewhat productive day.
I started lots of things....
No real progress on anything.
But maybe tomorrow will be rewarding?
Yeah at least you got it started!!! I wish I had something productive to do :) Just got a paid account on here Brad.....

Why don't you just sell LiveJournal and make a killing?
Because it's obvious that even with "somewhat productive" days, LJ is too much for you to handle now.
You might also consider changing the date on the directory's "Sorry" message to something more recent, so that the teens pipe down. People with paid accounts complain, and it's annoying to read journals that only bitch.
Following through is very important, especially for something as potentially huge as LJ. If you can't hack it, hand it over to someone who can, or you'll see a cash and popularity mutiny.

Wow, I should really respond when I am not half asleep, but seriously...
WHAT are you talking about? LJ is doing the best it ever has; just hardware issues are currently being solved.
Speaking of productive and cool things you make, how's NBGS going? I setup the Java runtime environment on my NT box last night an played around with what you've released so far. Looks sexy.
The protocol seems pretty neat so far, from what I've seen through my sniffer (gotta love that "Follow TCP Stream..." option on Ethereal
Haven't touched it in weeks. :-(
I have so many ideas for it, though, and I think that with a day or so of solid programming I could finish it.
Unfortunately, homework and LJ server issues keep preventing me from giving it any time.
