Brad Fitzpatrick
[Current Music |They Might Be Giants - Istanbul]

Hell yeah --- weekend!
I got ten billion things to program and setup.
I was designing a new top-secret LJ project on the bus today... almost missed my stop.

Oh, midterm grades:
History -- 3.0
Classics -- 66% (mean was 78%)
AI -- 77%
Music -- 95% (can you tell what class I actually like?)

Out of iced tea. Anybody want to go shopping for me and get me iced tea and food? I need minions. I need mylackey.com. I also want somebody to setup this new server. myevan.com ? heh. i called him ... he's gone.

Update: screw programming, I'm watching southpark! patrick sent me an episode I've been meaning to see --- gobbles!

want even more work ?

Hi Brad,
Maybe what I'm about to suggest is already possible in paid accounts, but since I don't have that as yet, I was wondering how much work it would take to enable spellchecking when posting comments on entries...

I can't find that cute little checkbox that I get when I make an entry in my own Journal and I would really like to have that there too, because my native language is dutch instead of english so it helps a lot...

You could off course decide to make it a members only feature, but I think it would improve the overall quality of entries (less spelling errors) and a better LiveJournal experience for users/members and outsider readers...

So that's it.
Hope you like the idea.

greetings from coffeecupguy in Belgium.

Ask and ye shall receive.

See? Brad already has minions... or at least enforcers. Evan the Enforcer, has a nice ring to it.

I would send you tea from Webvan but I have no clue where you live. I don't think they'd run all over Seattle to deliver tea to you ;o

Heh. You ought to get networking going on the new web servers, leave the directions in someplace obvious, and let the little gnomes set it up for you :P

That song is so cool! I can't believe someone outside of my group of friends listens to that song. It's so helpful too. I always knew I got at least one question right on my history tests in high school when the teacher asked "What was Istanbul's original name?"
