*uncrosses eyes* Stop mixing languages! *screams* my head's gonna explode! I can read all 3 languages, (took both german and spanish) and my mind went crazy there. lol.
sorewa dalemo wakaranai kotoba ni narisodane
brad wa amari atama ga yokunai to omoru
stop trying to pretend your silly language can be written with a latin script. AND STOP WASTING VOWELS!
vowels were made to be slaughtered in concentration camps.
morgen morgen. nur nicht heute, sagen alle faulen Leute.
it's essentially all i remember from my 4 years of german in high school.
*laughs* This was my last year taking german (3rd year) and I get the feeling that I won't remember the conjugation of "to be" in 6 months.(Ich bin, du bist, er/sie sind, ect.)
HA! I haven't heard that in years! My mother always used to say that to me. She learned it in school in Slovakia (where, apparantly, they were required to learn German).
I can not believe that people would learn german for pleasure. the only reason why I would learn it is so I can interpret their plans to torture me. Oh yes, I know the germans, they are all out to get me.
Yup, we're secretly making plans what to do with you once we abducted you and locked you in our cellars. Hmm ... I'm sure we'll come up with something. ::wicked grin::
Haha. I had Japanese, Spanish, and French in high school. I mix them up all the time.

Last quarter in Linguistics I learned *shock* that English is a branch off German. wow...
I learned some stuff from Madame Stanfield, at least enough to get into French 2 after 2 months of french 1.
aw right! Go German!
<~ took German for 4 years.
<~ a German boyfriend for 2 years
<~ still can't string a decent sentance together...
I feel your pain. I took 3 years of Spanish in high school and am in my second year of German in college. I grew up in Germany and currently live in San Diego, where Spanish is pretty much used as much as English, soo ... I mix things up all the time. Its quite a pain in the ass.
Im all for a universal language.
I read a book waaaaay back in high school (Wyrms, by Orson Scott Card if anyones intrested) in which this girl and her guardian would mix thier sentences up between some three different languages when they discussed hush hush stuff so no one could listen in.
The fun part about knowing (some) Spanish and taking German was answering the teacher in Spanish accidently whenever she asked a question.
