Dreams! [Jun. 5th, 2001|10:13 am]
Brad Fitzpatrick
Oh god, I almost forgot to post about all my weird dreams last night.

I don't even know where to start.

I was in the midwest crop dusting with this guy. He kept flying overhead and dumping different crap. He said he tried using invisible crop seeds earlier in the year but they didn't work. I asked why he would use invisible ones... he said, "So the bugs can't find them to eat." Yeah.

And there were all these bizarre houses up on huge mountains all around the field we were crop dusting. (but there are no mountains in the midwest)

On most of the houses were old ladies eating breakfast. Some of the houses were abandoned but looked damn cool.

Then I woke up at 3am ... I went to the bathroom and it was raining in the bathroom! There was a foot of water in there. I closed the window and it stopped raining. I threw down a towel to soak up the water but it just sank.

I went back to bed. As I was stepping into bed a hand shot out from under the bed and grabbed my foot and pulled me down. Then I woke up scared shitless. But that was just a dream in a dream, and I was still in dream #1. (didn't figure that out until the morning when I realized it can't rain inside).

I then asked the crop duster why it was raining inside the house... he said he invisible crop seeds have no mass so they float around in the air and turn into rain sometimes when it's cold. ("Ooooo-okay.")

I can't remember much else now. Waking up this morning I remembered a lot more.

I need to sleep 12 hours more often.

That's pretty freaky. I've had those dream within a dream dreams before, and they always freak me out. Cuz everything just seems so real, and then of course when you wake up you think, how could I have thought that was real?

That's always so scary. My cats will hide under the bed and grab at my feet when I walk past, scares me shitless.

I had similar dreams like yours... but a bit different. I "woke" up, got up/changed and went to work like normal and stuff... but soon I got "woke" up by my alarm clock. Then I *really* got woke up by my cat jumping on me. So that's three different sort.

But then... what if we're just really dreaming for a *long* time? What if we're really not doing this now? What if we're dreaming this now? This could go on...

In most circumstances, the moment you think "This makes no sense. Is it a dream?" you wake up. That always gets on my nerves.
