Stupid doorbell [Jun. 23rd, 2001|05:47 pm]
Brad Fitzpatrick
Our doorbell is frickin' loud but I can never hear it. I had music on, but not too loud. People I've missed now include: UPS, Nighthawk, Pizza Hut.

The pizza man is on his way back ... sucks for him. Sucks for me too. I'm hungry. They should carry cell-phones.

Music's off and my room door is open ... come to my belly, pizza.

I remember when I forgot you

You were only 5 and came home from kindergarten and I was asleep in the basement. I was not feeling well, and I was trying to keep Ryan in the room so I knew where he was. You came home and the door was locked and you rang the bell. I did not hear it, and you sat on the front steps for 30 to 40 mins. When I woke up and found you, you were starting to get misty eyes. After that we added and extra door bell in the basement family room. Just one of my bad mom stories.

Re: I remember when I forgot you

I remember when I was three or four my dad loaded my sister and I into the car and drove away from my great-grandmothers. The thing was, he left my mother standing in the yard.

I think he made it two or three blocks before I asked where Mommy was.

Mommy was PISSED, that's where she was. :)

Re: I remember when I forgot you

When I was 10 years old my uncles and Aunt would come over to visit every weekend with their kids. I have a little sister that is five years younger than me and a cousin her age. One weekend All the lady`s and girl cousins went shopping. My sister stayed behind with the men, since her and her twin cousin were never seperrated and he was a boy. Anyways the men thought they were with the women (as they happily played in the back room) and left to go play basketball. When the women got home they assumed they were with the men. Well when the men got back it really hit the fan. All of us cousins went on a neighborhood search and eventually found them under the slide at the park. It turns out they (being 5yrs old), thought that everyone had decided they were old enough to be left alone. So, thy went to the park, two blocks away and acroos two roads, to play; when they noticed a car following them and stayed under the slide for a couple of hours. THey looked so scared when we found them and the men were so in the dog house!!!!!!

Re: I remember when I forgot you

Haha.

One time my parents took us to the Commissary for groceries on the navy base. And I was talking to the bagger while the groceries are being loaded. I was like 5 also.

I then look around and everyone is gone. There's 6 people in my immediately family, by the way. They had all forgotten me.

I run outside, and I see our station wagon driving off! Luckily, I caught up to them at a parking lot stop sign and knocked on the window on my mothers side.

SHE LOOKS OVER AND WAVES AT ME. They kept on driving...

Luckily, she realized what had happened a couple seconds later. I coulda been the youngest bum in Alameda, California. Whew. :)

Re: I remember when I forgot you

Dont you hate it when your parents don't recognize you as they drive away and leave you standing there. My parents have done shit like that to me all to many times.
