nothing's more fun than hydroplaning at 80 mph surrounded by 3 other cars, all kicking up so much water that the road is invisible and you have to rely on driving towards the car in front's taillights.

multiple times.

no, seriously. it was fun. :P

the drive was quick. played cole some pool when i got here. we're tied up.

plugged in the wireless. ahyeah. working on getting my USB CD-R working with linux. there's a driver for it in the official kernel source. neat.

getting tired. so much stuff i need/want/should do, though.

Hydroplaning/Aquaplaning is great fun :-)

But not in my diesel... the air intake is about 4 inches off the ground. You go through a large puddle? You get water in the engine. Bang. One ex-engine.

Luckily I've never done that... but it takes away some of the fun of driving in the rain! ;o)

Ummmm, correct me if I'm wrong, but when you're aquaplaning (it's the same word in Danish, funny, huh?) you don't have any control of the wheels? So how do you drive towards the car in front's taillights.?

Of course, I guess it's all pretty automatic where you're going @ 80mph, but still...

Glad you survived though. Should teach you not to drive 80mph in unsafe conditions :o)

Yeah, wasn't that drive fun last night. I needed faster wipers. Hopefully you left late the traffic to pdx was nuts.
