I made Hamburger Helper earlier. (and enough for left-overs tomorrow!)

# deborphan | xargs apt-get --yes remove (especially --yes. :P)

emacs21!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (like, everything about it.)

update-alternatives, update-rc.d.. (oh hell, all of debian)

KDE. (still impressing the hell out of me)

Sie werden abgefahren sein, bevor ich ankomme. (how cool is that tense? sehr cool. it makes sense once I thought about it, but just seeing it is cool.)

solved my USB problems: switched to my other USB hub in my other identical monitor. (guess monitor on left's hub is broken?)

are you using KDE 2.2 or the 3.0 preview?

I finally got the Woody frozen ISO and installed it last night. after much wrestling with X (still need help. argh :\) I ended up getting Gnome installed. it's ok but I wanna see how KDE's progressed since I last used it...

sidenode: Debian is not newbie-friendly. :|

Debian is not at all user-friendly. But it's the best damn thing in the world once you learn it.

KDE 2.2.2-8 (from unstable)

apt alone is worth the price of admission.

You have a monitor with a USB hub built-in? Sweet :-) Didn't know they make those!

I have a dinky 4 port USB hub that sits on top of my tower, but with all the cords, it keeps falling behind the tower anytime anything moves. Bah unto it!

Yes, emacs21!

I've been using XEmacs almost since I started using Linux. With 21, GNU Emacs has caught up with XEmacs in features -- but everything is so much better integrated, and stable. It was worth the wait.

If you have problems with your USB hub on your ADI 6P that makes the 4th person I know of. My monitor has problem and so do two of my buddies. I gave up even trying with it, and just bought a belkin. It caused me SO MANY headaches.

That's good to know, that I'm not alone.

I'll go buy a good hub now.
