Possibly interesting note, possibly boring.

Interesting note:

Many moons ago, a railroad worker who was blasting away at a rock had a steel rod blasted through his eye, up through the front of his brain, and out his head. Gage, was the name, I believe (if I'm not getting my stories mixed up). He actually survived this and his resulting side effects from the injury spurred the development of psychology on greatly.

Anyway, I bring this up because he soon had the mind and emotions of a child. And the only thing he could say was a gutteral noise that sounded very much like "Timmay." I wonder if that was the inspiration for the South Park character.

Re: Possibly interesting note, possibly boring.

I think your stories are a bit mixed up, but yeah.

Once gauge [gage? Whatever] had the rod blasted through his head, he lost most of his personality, but could still talk. He swore like a retarded sailor, and was mean and angry for the rest of his life. Before that he was calm and nice.

Another man, by the name of "tan" had a birth defect in the language center in his brain, and through his whole life, the only word he could say was "taan". I guess them wacky scientists jumped all over his bloody sack o' brain once he died.
