Laptop & OSX [Feb. 18th, 2002|01:00 am]
Brad Fitzpatrick
I've been playing with my new TiBook and OS X for the past few hours.

So damn cool.

I need to cut myself off sometime soon here.... I haven't even started to unpack or do anything important yet.

This is going to keep me occupied for weeks and weeks.

hell ya, why wouldn't he? i'm running OS X full time nowadays and there's really no reason to look back...

leigh% uptime
1:31PM up 11 days, 19:41, 3 users, load averages: 0.19, 0.13, 0.00

and i'm still running quick n' stable... could you ever do that with OS 9? ya, didn't think so...

Honestly I didn't have very bad uptime stats with 9.. the thing that moved me to X was the true multitasking..

Well, that wasn't the only thing. UNIX was a pusher, the developer tools are fabulous although I don't program. Protected Memory... we should have had it years ago, but that's the past..
