Looks really nice! And I dunno why, but I love that built-in bookshelf. Its cool.
So, which one's gonna be the hackin room? I guess they all might be - hackin on the TIbook throughout the house with the wireless lan... But there's gotta be a primary hackin room?

The yard is really nice and well-tended. Fireplace looks cool, kitchen is roomy.
You're moving into an old people's house! How long you think it'll take to get rid of the "aroma?" ;)

Amazingly, there's no old person smell at all .... in start contrast to a few places I looked at, many of which didn't even have old people, but still had a smell.
When do we move in?
A wraparound porch! That's all I've ever wanted in a house (well, as far as frivolous-ish extra things go anyway). I am so jealous. Congratulations! :)

Re: Nice house!!
That's the first thing I fell in love with too. It kicks ass. :-)
Gonna have a house warming party July 4th if you have a means to come up and want to sit on the wraparound porch railing and have a beer. :)
Wow! That's a really nice house!

Good call on the chair.

Glad you picked up on that. And yeah, I like it.
They didn't want to move it, so they made me a sweet offer.
Oh my god I love that pond! Will you have Koi fish?! I wanna visit! O_O
when's the first house party?

4th of July party. Coming?
Congratulations Brad! I am so glad you have it!
Is there no form of "isn't" in german? Do you really have to say "is not"?
2002-06-10 08:34 pm (UTC)
None that I know of, but I'm far from fluent.
The thing is, though, all languages contract & combine things. Example... we would say:
That is in the garten.
They would say:
Das ist im Garten.
That is in the Garden.
So now take their perspective: "What?!?! There's no form of im? You have to say "in the" all the time and not im??"
It all works out.
Wow Brad, nice house! Congratulations! It looks really beautiful and comfortable.
