Went shopping again today... Costco = holiday hell. Wait, er... Costco = always hell.

Didn't do much productive (code) work today, but did some good business stuff, so I'm happy.

Perl hacker wanted! Make this and I'll give you money:

I'd do it, but I have a dozen projects of my own.

I want to go re-new my gym membership, but I'm not particularly excited about talking to the high-school-dropout losers who think they're important and have good jobs and must treat you like an idiot as they walk you through the signup process and such. And if you rush them along, they slow down even more, thinking you don't get it. So frustrating. (At least, this has been my experience the last two times.) Maybe I'll do it online.

Hah...

The second I read that, I said to myself, "Whitaker will do that." Sure enough, an hour later Brad refused to join in our reindeer games because he had a programming project he wanted to do. Personally I think you should bump up the level of requests for him, I'm just not sure how far he'd go for you :)

I %$#$$^ hate those hardsell asswipe gym shysters! Hey, do you have a World Gym up there in rainy country? It's the ONLY gym I've ever been to where they give you the price right out and don't subject you to the tour if you refuse. http://www.worldgym.com
they have the best prices I've found, too.

There's one in Oregon, says their website, but it's far away from here.
