Office Space [Jun. 5th, 2003|02:25 pm]
Brad Fitzpatrick
We're looking to get some small office space for LJ, without a 3-5 year lease.

When evan gets here this summer, it'll be nice to work somewhere that's not in my house.

I remember some company that rents out office space / art studios for short periods of time in the Seattle and Portland area.

Anybody remember its name? Or, anybody have other suggestions?

down here there are a ton of those 'E-Suites' kinda places...

small executive suites with 6 month to year leases, T1/T3 access, human answering service etc... and they are reasonably priced...

I am sure there is a similar thing up there...

The little warehouse type mall where my company is located is cheap, short-term and close to you.
On Aloclek just south of Cornelius.

For short-term your best bet is to sub-lease. Fortunatley (for you) there are a bunch of small companies in your area that have gone out of business in the past couple years. So a bunch of them who signed 3-year leases have little vacant offices that they're dying to sub-lease for cheap. You just have to find them. Commercial real estate companies usually keep this info. You should call a couple places and see what they've got.
