Jesse's gone. Hopefully he had fun, even though the weather sucked.

I got a Fingerworks keyboard which I'd been idly considering since I saw alanj's. I'm still getting up to speed but it's really, really damn cool. The integrated mouse is awesome, as are the gestures, emacs support, and the programmer's pad. Yesterday was painfully slow, and I thought today would be too but my brain must've calibrated itself overnight... my speed and accuracy are much improved, so I have much hope for my abilities in a couple weeks. We'll see.

Started looking at office space today.

Working on memcached a lot lately. Adding some cool stuff which I'll write about when I can type faster. :-)

Think I'm out of groceries. Wanna go for a bike ride. Etc, etc, etc....,

keyboard looks nifty

we'll see if you're still using it 2 months :)...

i'd like to know if it is hard to quickly find the "home row"... and they recommend "whole arm motions" for distant keys... that doesn't include the number row does it?

it has little homerow bumpies, so it's quite easy. for me, though, the problem is just learning to type correctly instead of doing whatever it is i was doing before so well.

In that case, I'll avoid. I also type somehow fast using a mess of a system I don't even understand.

That keyboard just looks wacky to me…
