-- playing with / hacking on my new Roku HD1000 media player. The software is very much a work-in-progress. I've been posting a bunch of the mailing list and the developers keep replying, saying they're on it and the new release/docs/SDK are almost ready. I eagerly await it. As is, the 1.0 software that ships with it kinda sucks, at least for lots of data. It's pretty cool you can just telnet to it and do pretty much whatever (dumps you into a bash prompt). Hey--- I need a MIPS local root exploit for 2.4.18. Anybody got one? (MIPS 4Kc V0.7) Oh yeah, Roku hasn't released their source code to their modified GPL code yet... that kinda irks me, but they say they're working on it, so I'll wait patiently for a bit.
