eli's birthday party was an hour or so ago, but erik and dana are still here... want people to leave so i can clean the room and go to bed.
nice, people finally left. going to bed now.
woke up this morning feeling great, totally alive and rejuvenated, fully rested from a good night's sleep. that quickly faded though... i found myself falling asleep in econ, and it wasn't even because of econ... I was reading my MFC book in there, which normally keeps me awake. and then after class, walking up the 3rd floor of sieg where I am now, I was having trouble staying awake walking up the steps. frickin' pathetic. anyway, i'm gonna try and do some homework now before my 10:30 class.
went to operating systems, fell asleep and drooled on my shirt. woke up half way through very awake and did some more of my digital design homework. then went to subway w/ scott and now i'm back in the CS lab, doing more homework. there are a bunch of annoying people in here today.... forgot to bring my headphones so I'm going to have to tolerate it. *sigh*
heh --- these two people working on a project together in the lab are funny: one of them, presumably european by the accent, can only speak english if he yells it really loud. the other one talks pretty quickly, but very soft and quiet. the result is that from the other side of the room you just hear the loud guy yelling out random programming gibberish, sounding like he's talking to himself. okay, back to homework....
been in the lab working with scott, mark, and brian on our OS project. we're all leaving now.
bunch of people in my room being loud again. and erik was kind enough to balance his full big gulp of mt. dew on the edge of my bed and then accidentally knock it over. so yeah -- they're planning on leaving sometime and then i'll be able to think again.
going to look at a house.
back from looking at the house... it's pretty cool. tomorrow eli and i are going to bike over there so he can see it (erik might come too, depending on if his bike is working) ... plus we'll get to judge if we're willing to make that bike ride everyday should we live there. the house is on the burke gillman trail which runs right through campus... the trail between campus and the house seems relatively flat, but we'll see... it could suck. anyway, at this point it's looking pretty nice.
erik and eli finally left to go to chuck's, like they said they were going to do for a few hours now. so i'm going to get some food and then meet blythe. gonna come back up here then and watch a movie or something.
