been up for about 20 minutes now. skipped econ .... eli said our teacher max is getting bored of teaching so we're just going to watch a movie all next week and that's what the quiz will be over. heh.
Just went to buy a book at Amazon.com and I get to the last step and get this:
System Error
There was an internal error in our system. We logged the problem and will investigate it later. Our apologies for the inconvenience.
Uh, that sucks. That reminds me though --- in my OS class today, our professor (an ex-Microsoft employee that worked on NT and 2000 and quit just a few months ago) was talking and his laptop running 2000 (hooked up to an InFocus projector) just crashed... blue-screened in the middle of his presentation. Heh. The cool thing is he looked at the blue screen and knew exactly what part has crashed.... he kept calling it a piece of junk and he seemed pretty annoyed. :-P
Here in the lab. I do not want to be here now. I'm sick of school... I'm tired mentally and physically. I eagerly await summer. I have 6 days of school left, 2 days of finals, 2 big projects, and a bunch of dumb assignments left. Ever since I got my Palm Pilot I'm increasingly aware of how much shit I have to do and how much I haven't done. *sigh*
busy day ... doing bunch of homework and signing the house lease and writing the check..... fun fun.
Well, I wrote the check and signed the lease.... I now have housing secured for next year, starting Sept 1st. That's a load off my back. Back in the lab now with Scott, working away at more homework. *sigh*
Well ... Erik, the one person yet to sign the lease, backed out of the housing deal and isn't going to sign the lease... he has what he truely believes are valid concerns about the lease and the landlord's intentions, but the rest of us aren't as paranoid/alert/cautious as Erik, so we're all in, he's out, and we're actively seeking out a new 11th member for our house. Fun fun.
