Finally, back home. The drive back was pretty nice. My speed was consistently 65-80: I did the cruise control thing this trip. It's so nice to be back in my chair, in my room, with my computers. Too bad I have to go to the airport in a few hours to go to Iowa, land of nothingness. *sigh*

Just took a shower and am unpacking & repacking my bags to go to Iowa now. Hungry. Never ate dinner in Seattle.
In Las Vegas now, at the airport. Exhausted. Need sleep. Next stop: Omaha-- gateway to the midwest. (Iowa "don't have no airports") I'm trying to work on my midwest-speak before I get there... I've figured it out I think: you just have to bastardize most the verbs.... I'm learning it now by listening in on people's conversations here at the gate. More updates later, provided I find a net connection in Iowa. Out.
In Omaha now (that's Nebraska, for y'all not familiar with midwest geography). Traveling with family is stressful. My parents are lost now, trying to find the gravel road that leads into Iowa. I suggest we simply follow our nose.
Look! I'm on the Internet! --- in Iowa!! My uncle Steve has a computer with Internet access ... pretty high-tech! :)
