last night in review

evening plans didn't go as ... um, planned. but came back home with chuck and a bunch of people were here ... the regular wed. night party crew. at night watched The Fifth Element and dealt with mail.

i sent out mail yesterday to a bunch of LiveJournal people begging for them to get paid accounts--- trying to raise $10,000 for new servers. so far we've got over $2,000. not bad at all. a lot of mail to deal with though. :-)

exercise

ran to the tennis courts with erik (not the close ones... the ones down on 18th), played tennis, ran back (up the hill). good workout. it was raining.

blythe got aggravated that i was on the computer all the time doing email, so I let her do it for awhile while I chilled on the bed.

now we're going to go make cookies, cause I wanna learn. I have an awesome idea on how to make them all different colors by sorting the M&M's first.... can't wait. :-P

Cookies are bakin'. Just read this on slashdot:
Actually if you ignore a (different) bit in ASCII, A-Z is still the same as a-z. (ignore the bit 0x20, which amusingly enough is a space in ASCII, which extra amusingly is 40 in octal while 40 in hex is a space in EBCDIC, which is only amusing if you're amused by ASCII and EBCDIC)
heh.
