I was just about to whine about nobody posting today, but then I realized I'm at fault as well.

I've been handling email, doing LJ stuff, and programming all day.

I got invited to go to out to several different things tonight, but I said no to them all.... I wanted to get stuff done this break.

I'm buried deep in a fun top-secret LJ project right now. I can't wait to finish it. Time flies when you're programming.... I just noticed it was 2:30 ... seemed like it was 8 last time I looked.

I stayed up all night working on this. LiveJournal can now embed polls. Yippee. Fun part was writing the markup to describe the polls.

Goddamn I'm tired.

I woke up at 4:30 today. Heh.

Woke up to tons of mail (what's new?) but the cool thing is that LJ's $10,000 fundraiser goal was reached... only 3 days. How cool is that? We still need $3,000 or so, then we'll buy the Alpha. *drool*

I've had a headache for the past 3 days, but it's going away now.

Working on getting freevote moved over to Marcus' servers.

Room's clean. Doing laundry. Working on a cddb+rip+encode program. There are tons out there, but I want to write my own (what's new?) because I want to. I assume most of the existing ones suck too, but if not--- let me know. Need something that'll query Freedb, then cdparanoia, then lame. There's a CDDB module for perl but it's being difficult. I think I'm going to write this in Perl-Gtk or even Python-Gtk... that'd be a project.

Update: grip is sexy. I'll use this instead.
