Wireless Providers --- your opinions?

I'm going to ditch VoiceStream.

They've been slowly pissing me off over the past few months and it's time to move on. I want a new phone, I want more features, and I want to give money to a company I respect.

I used to get 500 text messages a month, then they changed my plan to only have "50 incoming ping pongs" per month, with a 5 cent charge for outgoing ones and incoming over 50. It's not the nickles that concern me... it's them being assholes and charging for a 1K packet-routed data transmission. Text messaging is the the easiest service for them to provide, technically. But now that it's popular they're charging for it. And the web-to-phone gateway sucks now.

What else? I can't get email on my phone or browse the web. Service has started to suck lately. They spam me with advertisements for their own company.

So.... If you're happy with your wireless provider, tell me about it. Who do you have, what plan, what features?

Here's what I want: cool phone, cool company, email/web access, free long distance (well, "free" in that long distance & local calls use the same minutes).

Lots of crap

Bored, depressed, lonely.... they all seem the same. I'm hoping once school starts I'll be busy enough and there will be enough stuff going on that I'll be happier.

I went to Golden Gardens earlier because there was supposed to be some shit going on but I couldn't find anybody there. I'm starting to hate Golden Gardens... I always show up too early, too late, or something fucked up happens and I get angry. (like last time with the cops there, and me losing one of my chains)

I went shopping today ... Mr. Debit Check Card and I had fun. Walked out of the mall with $500 of suave clothing... 3 pants, 10 sweaters/shirts, socks, belt, new coat. Thanks to Blythe for being my fashion consultant.

I need more friends. I need to be more social. I need to figure out what I want out of life.

I guess I'll just work, like I always do. I just wish at least one other person shared my passion for what I do. And ideally, local.

Idealism. *sigh* But that's another post.

Great... Sherm just notified me of an area of LJ that's really sucking. Stupidrunningcompanieshateit.

I need to buy an iron.

Notes to self

New policies:
-- tshirts don't get hangers in closet. nice clothes does.
-- when facing front of shirt, hanger hook loops to left.
-- room being unorganized is now considered a leave-the-house critical bug
-- so is unpayed bills. they're easy to pay... why delay?
-- check book and pen must remain unlost at all times

Things to buy RSN:
-- bike
-- wireless network card
-- wireless base station
-- suave fucking clothes
-- new phone & service
-- mp3 player (for running)
-- bidness cards
-- SB Live! (for guitar + cooledit)
