Went to the Baltic Room for my first time with Joe, Paul, and Matthew. Daniel was spinning two-step. Of particular coolness was some bv3k he threw in. We drank, we danced, and all was merrry.
Going to bed now (relatively early compared to previous nights) as I have my car appointment tomorrow morning.
took car in. noticed a walk/don'twalk sign that had a 30 second countdown. never seen that before.
got coffee.
caught the 71 bus home .. all the way from downtown to house here. bus routes are all wiggly. i'd prefer transferring between busses often and having all the routes in an efficient tree structure, going between hubs.

future: hamburger tonight. put out meat to thaw. hamburger is a confusing word: you might think the root of it is "ham", and then you're like: but damnit, it's beef, not ham. but really, it comes from "hamburg", the city. but you probably already knew that.
went and got my car. all pretty & clean & shiny now. but i locked myself out of the house. (thought my pockets felt light leaving the house) so i drove to different places and walked around to kill tim then kenji called, and i could come home i need good movies i need a VGA extension cable actually i need a lot of things i have a piece of paper on the wall near a pen i have 4 boxes: food, buy, learn, do food is a subset of buy, but a common enough one so it gets its own box i put X on tally going to mount monitor up in corner of room showing random pictures / effects / misc status info (see above re: VGA extension cable) i suggested this idea to travis, but i'm stealing it back
i was going to make a burger i went upstairs to get george off the fridge had to get the fat tray found the fat tray in the dishwasher it still had a few small bits of fat in it. one fell on the floor. i picked it up. most disgusting thing ever. i thought, this? eat? no. george may get some/most of it but that totally grossed me out it was all slimy and gooey and... greasefat. i'm making spaghetti. spaghetti never did me wrong. mmm. running cluster conv script on 32 GB of real data this'll be awhile a damn long while. :-/
