The conference was kinda winding down yesterday. The best panel was Bruce Sterling, talking about the future. Afterwards he invited the whole audience to his house for a beer.

Well, "a beer" turned out to be a bunch of beer, and a bunch of wine. The place was packed... incredibly cool house. Lots of cool people. I think I talked the Movable Type guy's ear off... warned him not to start a service or he'd go crazy.

Prior to that party, went to two other places... Nuclear Taco night in some random building, and some club. I'll be uploading pictures later. Good stuff.

Sitting in the airport now. Wireless is everywhere lately. There's a deli downtown (Schlotsky's) that has free net access.... so rad.

(no subject)

At the Dallas airport now, waiting to board. I'm totally excited to get home and work on a bunch of things I've been thinking about the past few days.

BTW, props to Wayport customer service for transferring my wireless access from Austin to Dallas, even though the contract I didn't read says they don't do that.

Been re-reading "A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court" ... I love that book. And Middle English is amusing.

Bye! Boarding now.
