distributed synsuck

LiveJournal's synsucker is now running on about a dozen machines. This should mean syndication feeds (RSS/Atom) stay updated quicker and don't lag, and there's no single point of failure to take down syndication, like there used to be.

I can now telnet to any lock daemon and run ghetto debug command and see who's working:

Props to Michael for the client module for the distributed lock daemon. This is fun.
