Woke up this morning at 6:30am Eastern (3:30 am Pacific) to get to breakfast and the keynote at 8:00am.
Skipped the 9:00 talks and just talked with Brian Aker about MySQL innards, along with some others.
Went to the 1st of two talks by Peter Zaitsev about Innodb performance tuning, the focus being configuration and schemas. The second part should be more interesting, focusing on hardware and operating system issues. He started with a terrible, default setup, and went through a few dozen changes, showing the performance changes on both a small and large workload.
At the Intel Processor Trends & Roadmap keynote now (they're a sponsor). Only a half hour, then lunch.
I'll skip the Novel keynote after lunch ("Enterprise Adoption of Open Source") and go through my slides a final time before my hour talk at 2pm.
(I reorganized/split my slides a bunch... much happier with 'em now.)
