long day
8:15am - 9:15am here at the office. Well, hour break for dinner. (Lunch was a bagel that the guys brought back for me....)
Did some code review for others. (~1 hour)
Load balancer is kicking total ass. (10 hours)
Interviewed a guy for our sysadmin position. (~90 min?)
I'm loving "use fields" in Perl. 3x faster (microbenchmarks) and compile-time checks for field names. That was one of my final complaints about Perl.
This post makes no sense because I'm tired.
Tomorrow's code-go-live day, so that means a shitload of re-code-review in the morning (diff of live site and cvs), getting ready, then taking off early, coming in late (11pm-3am?) and waking up late Friday morning. Bleh.
Time to go home, read for a bit, then crash. But maybe it'd be best to adjust my sleep schedule later for tomorrow? TV could stretch out sleeping, once the brain/eyes are too tired to read.
