Jetlag [Aug. 31st, 2004|03:47 pm]
Brad Fitzpatrick
Jetlag's kicking my ass.

Telling me I'm tired, but I can't sleep.
Telling me I'm hungry, but eating makes my stomach hurt.

I woke up at 5:30 am this morning... worked, ran, had breakfast.

Faded quickly around 1 or 2pm.

It was a 9.5 hour direct flight, over 9 hours of timezones.

Damn. my flight to London from Seattle was 9.5 there direct and 10 something back over 8 hours of timezones...

We arched up over Canada though, so maybe that is the difference.

Don't you leave again soon?

You know you didn't actually "arch up" over Canada, right? :-)

That's just a projection. With the Earth being mostly spherical, the quickest way to Europe isn't from Seattle to New York to London.
