But if you get two they'll keep each other company when you're gone... Two happily entertained puppies = intact furniture.

Boston Terriers don't eat furniture. They're gentlemen. That's why they wear tuxedos.

Babe- you missed a word on the last sentance of the post.

Re: if that's how you wanna play

sentance & money

I'm definitely down now.

I only mentioned it because I know good grammar is important to you. It was motivated by love

Um, how about evil grammar?

"I really don't people to think I have evil motives"

After don't, should that be

A) want
2) care if
iii) thunk

Congrats - I'm glad you are able to drop the soul-killing business processes onto someone else, allowing you to scale to the challenges you WANT.

Indeed, brad, I think most of the anxiety over this change is actually a compliment to you: while you were running things, apparently, people believed you would always take decisions for the good of the community. That's a huge compliment, IMO.

What I (and others too I guess) am anxious about is that now, you don't have that power of decision anymore, and nobody around here knows the 6apart people. And some of the changes to the tos & social contract (I assume you read this review of the changes?) aren't helping...

But I still hope and trust (until proven otherwise ;-) that your feelings about the 6apart people will be right!

dont let the haters get to ya- you got in, worked hard, and now are making changes to get back to doing what you like versus doing what you dont like- who could ask for more :)

Congratulations on the development! I was skeptical when I heard the rumors, but LJ FAQ has removed most of my doubts ... best of luck to you at 6A!

You appear to have bribed dina with a puppy so she's not exactly an unbiased reference :-)

More seriously, a whole bunch of people were always going to suspect the worst, even without the whole rumour-it-is-happening-no-official-word thing. It's the nature of communities. And the raison d'tre of Live Journal. Just think of it as your own lj_drama!

Really the only thing that's going to reassure a lot of people is time passing and life continuing on as normal. In a couple of months I suspect there'll be relatively few people that still think you had any evil motive.

So hang in there. You know you have no evil motives. And people will figure it out.

Hey, just want to say thank you for starting up LiveJournal and running it all these years. I've had my journal since May 2000 and still use it every day. You've done a terrific job for a lot of people and deserve every bit of good that comes to you from it.

Best of luck to you, Dina and the LiveJournal / SixApart staff.
