BayLISA -- LiveJournal talk [May. 19th, 2005|04:46 pm]
Brad Fitzpatrick
So I agreed like 6 months ago to speak at BayLISA tonight about LiveJournal.

Little did I know then that this would be Star Wars night, and I bet no sysadmin in the bay area makes it to a user group meeting.

I hope a couple people show up.

I've heard your presentation is good but what with the weather I feel lazy about driving over from Walnut Creek ... :/

If I'm ever anywhere near an event where you're speaking prepare to see me escorted out after five minutes of amusing and abusive heckling. You've got your speciality and I've got mine.

Damn. I would go, except I'm flying to DC tomorrow (6am departure out of SFO, -ugh-) to fix some stuff at Equinix, so I have to go home and pack :(

Damn.

i used to go to the LISA meetings when they were held at the Sun/Netscape/Cisco- (1998-99 or so?)
when did this "baylisa" come about?
eh... it fell in to the same bucket with me as NANOG

Drat. I probably would have gone, if I hadn't read this after it was already over. Apple's pretty close.

It was definitely a great talk. We did have quite a few regulars missing from the crowd, so it was a little smaller than normal, but overall it was a decent turnout.

Thanks again Brad!
