They do this for fish, but why not for other animals? Even in the South I never remember seeing a place where you can pick a chicken and you get to watch them slit its throat and cook it for you.

Is that an invitation code?

Because fish are not animals, same as fish meat is not meat and vegetarians can actually eat it. Usually because fish are not fluffy but ok, a chicken isn't either. I admit, I do not know the answer. Maybe the blood has something to do with it? Or the abundance of intestines And Other Things in certain livestock.

Woah

Maybe I should add that I made a joke as well. To prevent further upset comments. NOT from you. But in your journal, poor you.

Re: Is that an invitation code?

Do vegetarians in general eat fish? The vegetarians I know do not eat any meat or fish.

Re: Is that an invitation code?

Technically they wouldn't eat any meat, fish, eggs, etc.

I know many who make exceptions for fish, or only eliminate red meat, but there's not a well known name for that, so they go with the name....

Re: Is that an invitation code?

I want to start a new kind of diet where you only eat cold blooded animals. Fish are okay, but birds and mamals are ruled out. I need a catchy name though.
