Vornado Heaters [Dec. 3rd, 2005|07:41 pm]
Brad Fitzpatrick

After nine months of living in this rental house, we finally got annoyed of the lack of heating on the bottom two floors (the living room, kitchen, and my office) and went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond (overwhelming) and bought two Vornado space heaters, one for my office and one for the middle floor.

Having heat in the upstairs bedroom probably held us over until this point, but damn ... we should've done this a long time ago.

My office is now super toasty... lovin' it.

Trade you. It was in the 80s in Austin this afternoon. I haven't turned on my heat once since Jan/Feb of this year. It hasn't even been cold enough to break out my leather jacket yet this year.

You needed a space heater for the office? Sounds like you really needed more computers...

Our house is the same way. We have a vornado in our bedroom and now can sleep without flannel everything (including pajamas).

My stupid Vornado shorts out the lights in my apartment. I am warm for about four minutes, then cold and in the dark.
