When I come back from Belize, I hope somebody has kicked Jörg Schilling in the metaphoric nuts by forking cdrecord so I don't have to see his name on the lkml anymore.

I guess Debian's already done that, a bit, but I want it done more.

oh good, it's not just me who can't stand Joerg :) he's unfortunately quite active on the opensolaris lists...

The up side to Schilly is that he is, eventually, capable of listening to reason, which puts him ahead of DJB in my book.

It certainly does (and should) care a lot about kernel-provided interfaces.
