"10 hour" car trip

I think I jinxed the gods when bragging about our uneventful trip up to portland... "no rain, no snow, no traffic," I'd said.

Now we're on our way back and it's looking like 12.5+ hrs after 90 minute delay in mountains with snow, chain control, etc. (we had no chains but they waved the audi thru without sending us back like a number of cars... Phew)

and tons of rain and traffic of course.

And now, 65 miles north of redding, it's snowing again. Dina's not a fan.
