Dryer Lint [May. 18th, 2007|10:16 am]
Brad Fitzpatrick
Dryers work a lot faster when you remove the 2 inches of stratified lint from the lint catch.

Not my fault the damn thing was hidden and I only just now found it!

That reminds me of the time my younger brother (who was in college) used liquid dish soap (e.g. Dawn) in the dish washer (his excuse was that it said it was for dishes). It didn't turn out too well. :)

I once used a toilet plunger to unclog a sink. There was no garbage disposal, and the sink was full of really dirty and disgusting water; surprisingly, the plunger worked very well.

Though I'm really not sure where you would apply a plunger to a dishwasher, or how that could ever work, so your point stands.

that happened to me, too! when i moved in here, i always thought it was weird that there was no lint catch in my dryer... a YEAR later, it was taking way too long to dry my clothes so i did some googling with my dryer make&model and i finally found the damn thing. i could have used the lint i dug out of there as a bed pillow!

I know i'm probably crazy, but I love cleaning the dryer lint filter... I really look forward to it each laundry day.

All you non-lint removers should be more careful -- that is a fire hazard.

You have a back yard in live in California, shouldn't you be running a drying line out back?
