До свидания [Jun. 12th, 2007|11:08 am]
Brad Fitzpatrick

Yes, I'm still alive.

I had a wonderful time in Moscow, Istanbul, and St. Petersburg. Much love to everybody who joined me on adventures and introduced me to new, distinctly Russian things. Russian banya was especially interesting. :)

As of yesterday, I'm now stopped over in Frankfurt spending a few days with calliste and her boyfriend before continuing home to San Francisco on Thursday.

Had you jumped to the cold water after banya? :)

The river was too far away, but we had buckets of freezing water which were just about as effective.

There is a Russian banya in Seattle that's pretty cool. Not sure how authentic is -- there certainly aren't any rivers involved.
