Damn, missed it... [Oct. 30th, 2007|08:52 pm]
Brad Fitzpatrick

I was on the shuttle coming up from Google and missed the 5.6 earthquake. Damn. I wish I would've worked later and felt it down in Mt. View!

My homeless friend daberna said he felt it here at the house (in San Francisco), though.

It was pretty scary/rad in my place. My only regret was not being in the hot tub at the time.

I missed it too, since I was on the BART. Though they did stop the trains for about 10 minutes to make sure the tracks were still in one piece.

Was a pretty exciting quake from near Cambell. Short, but pretty violent, not so much with the rolling (could be soil related)

Yeah we're out in the outer Richmond near Lincoln Park and this ole victorian thang here was rattling and swaying pretty badly. Doesn't bode well for anything over a, say, 6.0... :T

I was in the office down at Cisco and it was violent enough that more or less everyone got under their desks and such (good ole Elementary School earthquake drills!) Good times all around.

Yeah, it was epicentered fairly close to here. It was the largest one I've felt since I've been back in California. The whole apartment visibly rolled and shook for almost a minute.

Lovingly, jokingly, but also truthfully. :-)
