Amazon MP3 store [Nov. 10th, 2007|07:42 pm]

I totally love the Amazon mp3 store. I'm buying way too much music and I just totally don't care.

I wish I could upload it a list of all the music I already own, though. Or feed it my music listening/lastfm history, etc. I just want better recommendations, so I can buy more music.

(and this is all coming from somebody with an easynews account)

srsly, it's kinda crazy they don't let you upload iTunes xml playlists.

And yes, it is quite awesome.

Have you checked out eMusic? I'm quite fond of it, and prefer the VBR-encoded MP3s to Amazon's 256k CBR. Amazon does have a bit of a lock on more mainstream artists/labels, though. eMusic caters more to indie and off-beat labels.
