iPhone replacement [Nov. 13th, 2007|11:39 pm]

Update to my previous problem: Apple gave me a new iPhone on the spot, no questions asked. It must, indeed, be a common problem.

I asked them to erase my old one and watched them do so.

I came home, inserted new one, and iTunes said, "Do you want to restore this, or set it up as a new iPhone?" Restore. Few minutes... entirely back to how it was.

I wonder if I'll have to do this every couple months of if they'll fix their hardware by then.

yeah, I don't know how people put so much work/information into their phones with no way of restoring it/transfering it to their next phone. I would go insane. Like the girl on "Chuck" this week even had a Treo but was SOOOO worried about losing everything on her phone when it had problems. Come on, HotSync people ;)
